The learner will have two days to complete a Alcohol Scavenger Hunt by going to www.thecoolspot.gov. to answer a number of questions. The learner will follow a number of prompts to click on specific links to find the answers to the questions. All questions and bullet lists should be completely answered just as on the website page. All information given after the bold bullet point should also be provided. Finally, the learner will go to http://kidshealth.org to finish the worksheet/scavenger hunt. This project will be due on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 when the student walks into the room. This is a prearranged assignment and will follow the guidelines on page 17 of the student handbook. Any projects not fully completed will be considered Incomplete as well as late resulting in receiving a zero. There is No Partial Credit Given For Projects That Are Not Completed As Required. Finally, any project not turned in by the Due Date because of an unexcused absence will be unacceptable and will receive a zero. If the student is on campus prior to leaving due to illness the project must be turned in before the student leaves or it will be considered late and unacceptable! A illness that occurs on campus that requires the nurse to send that student home is not considered excused for long term assignments.! Also, if the student is scheduled for ISS then the project is required to be turned in at the beginning if the school day prior to the class period.
*****The answers to the questions should be TYPED! There will be NO HAND WRITTEN PROJECTS ACCEPTED! Also, there will be NO E-MAILED Projects ACCEPTED. If the student does not type out the questions with their answers, then the provided packet will be turned in with their completed project.
